Good man Friday sharing in on the glorious catch. He was my host from the Kuna indian tribe in San Blas, Panama. Rented a bamboo hut from him and his wife.

Being in panama city for over a week felt like purgatory. I got so bored after a while that I started exploring the ¨bad neiborhoods¨. Saw the canal, drove over the canal......awesome, and tomarrow gracias a los powers that be, I will be placing my Runner on ship in route 4 colombia!!!! WHOOOOOO!!!!

Never trust a gringo!! I went for a swim and asked a gringo couple if they would watch my camera and stuff in the meanwhile. 15 minutes later they are gone and my camera is gone including my reef ¨rubba slippas¨ . Lesson learned......trust no one!

okay so not really any new ¨cool¨ pictures...though watching a 10 year old holding a three foot iguana by the tail in hopes of selling it to passing cars would have been a good one.......that and armadillos seem to be a fairly common sight hearabouts. So I have learned the value of the ¨SOBORNO¨ or in english bride. It seems that the entire police force of central american is sustained through ¨donations¨....sons a bitc·es! You gotta do what you gotta do to make it through....and I seem to be pretty damned suspiscious looking...anways today I made it to liberia, costa rica and tomarrow the BEACHES! Surf, dive, 4 wheel, climb coconut trees...chase iguanas and girlies....its all on the agenda

Well not much to say other than that i am alive and currently reside in the historic city of oaxaca, mexico.....many things to tell...so let me sum it up shortly.....I am the savior of the hitch hiker....of drunken vaqueros lying on railroad tracks and of the mexican economy in general. I have so far learned such valuable things as the street price of an uncut kilo of pure colombian white on the streets of mazatlan, the best way to cut across mexico D. F. and but of course the best way to bring suspicion to oneself ( White guy....speaks spanish....has a narcotraficante beard and mustache...driving alone in a 23 year old vehicle through the veritable uncharted "colon" of mexico!! My little truck has seen some abuse...some hard times....has even faltered now and again but as the hawaiian pigin term goes "SHE GO" and so must I!
